Currents at Otter Bay is an idyllic getaway on Pender Island in British Columbia's southern Gulf Islands - only a 40 minute ferry ride from Victoria's ferry terminal at Swartz Bay.

Within  easy walking distance of the ferry terminal at Otter Bay, this cottage (at Currents at Otter Bay) is ideally located for guests vacationing on foot or with their bicycles. A convenient shuttle enables guests to travel to the Driftwood Shopping Centre for groceries, gifts, books or other necessities. Shuttle service is also provided to a nearby 9-hole golf course (1.5 km away). Of course, travellers by car are also most welcome and free parking is provided.

The cottage sleeps up to six with a private master bedroom, two single beds upstairs and a comfy pull-out couch in the living area. A large deck overlooks the ocean with lounge chairs and an outdoor table to take advantage of the weather and fabulous views year round. Whale sightings from the deck are frequent. Amenities include a flat-screen TV with DVD and surround sound, high speed internet access and a gas fireplace. A full kitchen is complemented by a large outdoor gas BBQ. Heated floors inside keep your feet nice and toasty in the winter.

The grounds include 2 pools (one for adults only) and a general store as well as kayak tours and a marina. The location is ideal for launching kayaks to explore the shores of both North and South Pender Island. Reserved marina space is available if you would like to bring your boat. Boat launching from the ramp is free.
