A perfect way to experience the Gulf Islands is through photography. We travel and photograph the islands extensively and we know them well. From winter storms to hot summer days and inland views to magnificent ocean vistas these tours give you an idea of each island's unique character. Galiano Island is the second largest of the Southern Gulf Islands at 57 sq km and the closest to the Lower Mainland. It has excellent facilities, mainly clustered at the south end near the Sturdies Bay ferry terminal. Those who seek more peace and quiet can head up the long narrow northern section, where parks and trails are less busy.

Mayne Island supports an abundance of outdoor recreation activities including hiking, cycling and kayaking. There are many beaches on the island and several parks which include Mount Parke with a spectacular of the Southern Gulf Islands and Georgina Point Lighthouse at the entrance to Active Pass. Excellent facilities and a rural feel make Mayne Island a good stopping point.

The Pender Islands are made up of North and South Pender and are separated by a dredged narrow canal, linked by a one lane bridge.

South Pender is more rural and less populated while North Pender, with several subdivisions (Magic Lake and Trincomali), has by far the larger population. Here you'll find a health clinic, an elementary school, a community hall, shopping centre, churches, the best second hand shop in the west, a library, and historic Port Washington and Hope Bay, with their government docks.
