Cancellation Policy:

• If the reservation is cancelled before 45 days from the check-in date there will be a 25% cancellation fee charged on the reservation deposit + GST for any cancellation to cover associated costs.
• If the reservation is cancelled less than 45 days prior to your arrival date, you will be charged the full amount of the rent plus taxes. Should we secure another booking for some or all of the rental period, you will be refunded the amount of money recovered less a cancellation fee of 25% of the booking + GST.
• In the unlikely event that the rental property becomes unavailable, Gulf Island Vacation Rentals will make every effort to find similar accommodation. Should that prove to be impossible, the deposit we hold for you will be refunded. The owner would be responsible to return the remainder to you.

Payment:

• We accept VISA, MasterCard and American Express for the deposit. Owners accept credit cards, personal cheques, money orders, and  bank drafts for their portion of the payment.

Damage Deposit:

• A damage deposit will be requested 1 week prior to your arrival. Please be expedient with payment as you will not be allowed access until the damage deposit is secured. The deposit will be returned to you within a week of your departure, after we have had an opportunity to confirm no damage has ocurred.
