With Travel Guard Essential, you receive basic coverage in the event of trip related expenses such as:
- Trip cancellation, interruption and delay
- Emergency medical treatment or evacuation
- Lost, stolen or damaged baggage or personal effects
- Baggage delay
Additional insurance benefits available!
If you purchase within fifteen days of your initial deposit, you have the option of purchasing our Travel Guard Essential Expanded Coverage which includes all the coverage in the Travel Guard Essential, plus the following:
- Coverage for bankruptcy of an airline, a cruise line or a tour operator. (Bankruptcy is not covered for all travel suppliers.)
- Coverage for Pre-Existing medical conditions that could eventually cause you to cancel or interrupt your trip.
- Coverage for a terrorist incident in a city listed on your itinerary within 30 days of your scheduled arrival.

Coverage: One child 16 or under will receive coverage for every adult
that purchases this travel insurance protection plan at no additional
cost.
