short hop from Nanaimo and easily accessible from
Gabriola Island. The lowbank waterfront property has
a brand new westcoast style cottage. The house has 3 bedrooms, den and two bathrooms and is situated on false narrows facing Gabriola Island. This beautiful cedar constructed cottage offers every thing one could wish for a peaceful hide away from the world. Everything for a perfect vacation is included just bring your groceries and relax. There is a 200 square foot deck set back 60 feet from the seashore and a host of architectural delights. Set on 0.8 acres of land with approximately 200 feet of easily accessible beach front, down a short staircase. The beach is also accessible by shallow draft boat at high tide and is a delight to view and explore at low tide. At low tide there are edible clams, crabs and oysters for the picking and blue herons and eagles can be viewed hunting for fish in the shallows. For much of the year sea lions and seals can be viewed hunting for fish in false narrows from the deck and occasionally Orcas will pass through the straights. At dusk every day deer will be seen grazing on and around the property and in summer time hummingbirds will frequent the nectar feeders on the house front.

The house will sleep 8 people easily and up to 12 people comfortably if the trundle bed and both queen size sofa beds are used. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and ensuite. The second bedroom comprises of a queen/ single bunk bed (with extra trundle bed) and the third bedroom is a single/ single bunk bed. The living room and den both have queen size sofa beds.
